Richard Noronha of Oakvillean wins $100K Lotto Max second prize

Richard Noronha recently picked up his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto and found himself $129,754 richer.

The Lotto Max second prize for the draw on September 2, 2022, went to the Oakville resident.

In the midst of the epidemic, Noronha, a member of the healthcare sector, subscribed to OLG.ca's ticket offerings.

He was drinking his coffee when he realised he got an email from OLG.

"I checked my account and saw I had won. I was so appreciative!

Noronha's first sensation was one of unadulterated bliss.

After gaining his bearings, the father, 51, considered how he "might be a good steward of this gift."

He said, "I'm going to give more to a charity that my wife and I support," but not before treating his family to a wonderful supper.
